Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer that is well known for her highly commendable performances in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter won many awards and awards, among them an Oscar for her movie Piano. The actress began her career by acting on Broadway and Off Broadway. It has been an integral part of her passion. In the fifth grade she acted as Helen Keller. As a result of having Mumps, she went deaf in one ear. However, this did not stop her ambition to pursue a career as an actress. In her early years, she studied acting in the college before moving from Pittsburgh to New York City from Pittsburgh so that she could follow her dreams. Through a random encounter, she was stuck in an elevator along with the playwright Beth Henley and the two were a team in Broadway Crimes of the Heart the play that would become Hunter's debut. She relocated in Los Angeles and tried to find the roles in films. In Swing Shift, she landed an appearance as a supporting character. For the last 30 years, she has appeared on numerous TV shows and films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and has won the Women in Film Lucy Award.
